Who I am

This site is run by Finlay Inwards, a sole trader trading as Finlay Inwards – Website Design. I'm responsible for the personal details you send through it. You can reach me at hello@finlayinwards.co.uk or on 07453 056861.

What I collect

• What you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, business name, project type, budget, timeline, message, and how you heard about me.
• A one-way code made from your IP address, used only to stop the form being flooded with spam. The address itself isn't stored.
• Your browser's name and version, to help me spot spam and fix problems.

Why I use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to plan the project. That's in both our interests, and it's a step towards a possible contract. I don't sell your details, add you to a mailing list, or share them with anyone except the company that hosts this website.

How long I keep it

If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry after 12 months. If we do, I keep it with the project records for as long as I need them for the work and my accounts. You can ask me to delete it sooner at any time.

Cookies

After you send the form, one cookie remembers your enquiry reference for an hour so the confirmation page can show it. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details I hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how I use them. Email me at hello@finlayinwards.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
