About
About me
I'm Finlay Inwards. I've just set up this studio to design and build websites and custom software for businesses, and I take on contract work too. I'm based in Bedfordshire.
Most of what I build runs on PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. Before this I built Jas Music, a Discord music bot with a web dashboard, and kept it running for two years in servers with over 5 million members between them. I'm also building CrewByte, a rota and labour-cost app for shift-based businesses, which is still in development.
I worked in hospitality before this. I started on the counter at 16 and worked up to General Manager level. It taught me that a small business owner wants a straight answer and something that works on a busy day, and I work the same way.
I'm happy to meet in person around Bedford and Milton Keynes, or work remotely if that suits you better. Call me on 07453 056861 or email hello@finlayinwards.co.uk.

How I work
What you can expect
- You talk to me, not an account manager.
- I reply within one working day.
- Working versions as we go, not a big reveal at the end.
- When it's done, the code, content and domain are yours.
